hello eveyone,
i have a suggestion for changing the number of guesses for the hangman game.
first, 6 is to low to get a minimum chance to pick correct letters.
2,
my idea is to higher the guess number for picking letters in the grit.
my idea for the number is 12.
hope this will get the game more funny and more lucky word guessers.
please note that this is only a suggestion, and everyone is free to make his/her comment on this topic.

you realize of corse that posting to your own topic twice won't help get what you want
I like the idea of uping the amount of guesses.
It could be like blingo with the level with the lower amount of guesses get's you more points if you get it right.
The words could be harder too.
yeah tango, you should remember that posting to your own topic doesn't help...citing your true or false suggestion a long time ago...
but no, it's fine the way it is, too many guesses and it's too easy. now at least you've got to think a bit.
I agree that responding to your own post, just to agree, is kind of like bragging on yourself. If you are going to do it, why should we.
Anyway, I like the game just as it is. Any more guesses and each word would take too long to play.

I think 6 guesses are fine. I would suggest optional less guesses for more points but more guesses i don't think it is a good idea.

J, on a similar note, why not have us type the letter into an edit field instead of choosing a link?
Yes i agree. Either an edit box or a listbox. The reason i say listbox is because the letters we already used can go from the list maybe and with the list we can type the letter and jump on it.
that's why we use the links, the letters that you guess go, after you have clicked on them.
and yes, 6 guessis is fine. there are people that don't even need that many
the added benefit of having it as letters is that you could guess the hole word if your sure of what it is. I know I did that a lot with the braille n speak hangman and I've often wished it could be done with this one too.
don't like the listbox, since it's easier to tab through the list of letters then to arrow through a combo. Also, don't think it's as cool visually since the way it is now, you can see the letters remaining all at once.
I think it's pretty cool the way it is, even though it would be a little more fun to raise the guesses to about eight. But anywhere from six to eight is fine. I like the link idea because I can see which letters I've used.
yeah i like the letters the way they are now. and yep, upping the guesses a few would be good, but heck not too much.
